How do you get rid of new scars?

First of all ... If your still in the status of a wound (before scar) try to get the best scar you can get by keeping the wound not to dry. Try to prevent getting dark blood granulate inside the wound because that keeps new skin cells from entering the area and building a flat surface.

Apply treatment (Mederma) in an early age of the wound. Using a band-aid might help by producing a very slight pressure on the wound, keeping it flat.

Then: Avoid everything that irritates the skin: sun, rubbing. So put sun blocker on it, keep it out of the sun, don%26#039;t wear loose cloth in that area because it rubs over the scar and irritates.

I am using Mederma 4 times a day and I think it does a pretty good job. Interestingly, when my wife (a nurse) applied banana skin to my scar over night (by band-aid around it) the scar looked better the next morning!

Maybe some of my experiences help you!

Andreas|||Tyr bio-oil. I have a pot sitting here, right next to me! Its fantastic and something about it makes you feel great once its on aswell!?!?!

Home rememdies try- Rubbing the inside of a banana skin on it. It works! For warts as well!

Also... if its a bad scar thats been around for ages then its probably not going away.....|||We have a cream called bio-oil that helps with scars and treatment for your wounds.

if u get a cut and its scabbing apply bio-oil and it really helps|||I%26#039;ve heard that Mederma works.
