How do you get rid of scars on your knees and elbows?

You can%26#039;t. Scars are scars, wherever they are, and you can%26#039;t get rid of them except through cosmetic surgery. They will fade in colour eventually, though, turning from pink to pale pink to white.

A lot depends on how bad they are to begin with, though.|||stop getting pounded from behind on all fours on the rug|||ive been in multiple accidents and take it from me you need to apply straight Vitamin E oil too it...... 10,000 iu trust me|||Maderma Scar Cream can help reduce the appearance of scars along with Palmers Cocoa Butter Lotion|||wheat germ oil available from the body shop is supposed to help|||use band aids.|||you dont.

they are there to stay.

if its a 1 time thing, just put some makeup over it.

even the commercial scar remover doesnt work.

sorry.|||there%26#039;s really no way to totally remove a scar. even the surgeries that plastic surgeons perform leave minute scarring. umpteen years ago, plastic surgeons would have patients smooth cocoa butter onto the area to minimize the effect of scarring. i%26#039;ve done that for years, as well as used cocoa butter around my eyes on my crows feet. it%26#039;s very gentle and it may actually condition the skin a little, but i haven%26#039;t noticed remarkable results, just slight ones.|||You can try some over the counter scar removal. It actually doesn%26#039;t take the scar away, but just makes them smoother. If you want real results, go to a dermatologist, they will give you options. Usually the lasers they have work well.
