I am 15, and I got proactiv about a month ago. It has gotten rid of all my acne, but now I have to deal with the acne SCARS (which suck). I was wondering if you know any home-remedies or any cheap ways to get rid of these?! Thanks!|||if you have red scars only there is really nothing you can do except wait for them to heal up and go away. my doctor said that can take several months. those are the kind of scars i have. my skin has cleared up and i havent broken out for a month and the redness is slowly going away. you might just have to wait. if you have pock mark scars (like holes and indents) go see a dermatologist for treatment.
oh and i just thought of this after i posted it.... if you are already using proactive i wouldnt use any additional treatments.. like the at home microdermabrasion... i think that can screw up your skin. they key to it healing up is being as gentle as possible!|||try vitamin e cream it really minimized all of mine, you can barely tell i ever had acne at all, all i have left is a few tiny light pink marks in a few places that are still fading and cover easily. you can get a big tub of it at the drugstore for like 5 bucks and it lasts forever. i use jamieson but generic brands work the same, just make sure its vitamin e cream and not some random moisturizer enriched with it or something.|||junk food causes achne greasy stuff
