Can unrefined shea butter help clear scars?
I have done a little research on shea butter and what it can do for your skin (face, hair, feet ETC), it is an all natural butter that can help your skin. But has anyone actually tried it? if so how did it help you? Do you think it could work for me?|||interesting...i just bought a jar of unrefined organic shea butter. It%26#039;s really soft but grainy and hard to spread. I found some tips on how to make a lotion or butter from it and i%26#039;m going to try that. I think that as long as you know what in what ur putting on your face then u should be fine...but shea butter isn%26#039;t going to help much with scars unless you add an essential or carrier oil in it. Rosehip seed oil is supposed to be good for scars. My lotion is going to be shea butter, rosehip oil, and lavender essential oil. Mederma works great but can be costly,|||Make-up? You%26#039;d have to blend it in well, or else it may draw more attention to it. And if you were going swimming that wouldn%26#039;t work too well. Maybe get Mederma for scars. I%26#039;ve never personally used it, but it%26#039;s worth a shot. Deeper scars like the ones caused by self injury will never go away completely, as you probably know, but fading them will make them a lot less noticeable. Other than that, there%26#039;s not much more you can do.

I would put on the bio oil, let it dry and then put on the gradual moisturiser. Should be fine as long as you only apply either one to dry skin.

How do I get rid of acne scars and prevent pimples from attacking my face in the future !?!!?

I have an 8yr old daughter who was bit by a dog on the face when she was 13 months old. They used over 110 dissolvable stitches. Unfortunately it appears that not all of them dissolved properly. I have more scars I received in another car accident. One on my arm, some on my rib cage and a long scar from exploratory surgery. It%26#039;s been over 5 years now and the biggest scar on my abdomen is still raised and mostly pink. It has faded white in some places. I have had to come to terms with myself that I%26#039;m always going to be scared.|||depends on the scar. Some never really go away. You can use Mederma which is over the counter to help, and keep nistatin on you if you get cut again.|||They don%26#039;t. That%26#039;s why they are called scars.|||Depends on the type of scar. Could be a week, could be years. i have scars from my pimples before mostly on my cheeks and chin and they%26#039;ve been there for 3 years now! they wont go away :[[ does any one know what i can do? should i go to a dermatologist?|||i recommend you get microdermabrasion done it is so good. and it fades your scars it leaves your skin beautiful, a bit pricey but worth it.|||Scars most likely wont go away. Especially if they%26#039;ve been there for a few years. It happens to a lot of people. To try and at least cover them up foundation of your skin tone and powder helps a lot! I have a few myself

It will reduce them some. I know %26#039;cause I have them. Nothing available over the counter will completely remove them. For that you need lasering by a licensed and competent dermatologist.

On a girl/guy, would you rather them have 1 or 2 scars on their shoulder/arms, ALOT of dark freckles, or one or more big moles.

I have black dots on my tongue, i think its scars from biting my tongue, how do i get rid of em?
It might not be scars from biting your tongue, but maybe burn marks. My best friend has black dots on her tongue and she told me it was from eating something right off of the stove. Unfortunately, I don%26#039;t think there is anyway to get rid of them, but I%26#039;m not entirely sure, there could be some kind of treatment. If you are really concerned, I would simply ask your doctor about your condition, and it probably isn%26#039;t that serious.|||Are you sure they are from biting your tongue? You may want to see a doctor about that. Sounds kinda serious.
